Can I connect the ExoMetrics Wrist to my timeclock, door locks, or other employee security access system so I can record daily temperature scanner readings to my existing user database?
Yes. We offer an upgraded program that provides your team an integrations specialist. They can work directly with your IT department to connect the ExoMetric Wrist unit into your existing employee and/or membership security access systems. For more information email: support@eondigital.net
What happens when a high temerature is detected?
If a high temperature is detected, the ExoMetric Wrist displays a red light and plays an audio warning. By default, the unit then pauses scanning until an operator pushes the ‘reset’ button. This set-up allows your staff time to follow-up with that specific guest based on your protocols (including any necessary disinfecting). If your use-case requires this feature to be disabled, please make sure to notify your sales representative.
Which temperature is the ExoMetrics Wrist set to report as too high?
Each unit has presets for acceptable temperature scanner ranges based on CDC guidelines. Normally these are set to report a warning light and buzzer if a person’s temperature is over 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit; however, this can be configured before shipping. Ask your sales representative about this when placing your order.
How does the ExoMetrics patent pending algorithm reduce false positives?
Most false positives are a result of environmental changes like air temperature and sun exposure. The ExoMetrics Wrist reads the skin temperature of each guest, then compares that reading with other recent readings to identify environmental trends among the people being scanned. By adding this extra layer of data to the detection algorithm, we can reduce false positives even when the weather outside changes rapidly.
What are the mounting options for the ExoMetrics Wrist units?
The ExoMetrics Wrist units are designed for flexible placement options. The standard mount provided works for Lavi stanchions or common desk stands. If your application requires a specific mounting bracket, please notify your sales representative. For all placements, you will need a standard 110v outlet available for power.
Do you offer a warranty on the ExoMetrics Wrist?
Each unit has a warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of one year from the date of purchase. An additional Protection Plan is available. Please ask your sales representative for more details.
What type of instructional signage do you suggest to help guests understand how to use the system?
We will have printable instructional signage available online. These will be free for you to print and use to inform your guests and employees of the safety features of this temperature scanner as well as how to perform the ExoMetrics Wrist self-scan.
